Multi-Award winning (Turner Prize 2015) Architects, ASSEMBLE will present a selection of projects specifically relating to workshops, timber, cooperative design and sustainable supply chains.
Experts in timber's journey from fallen tree to final product, EVOLVING FORESTS share experiences of opportunities and infrastructural requirements for using open-grown and storm damaged trees.
Jersey's own International Arts Residency, THE MORNING BOAT, who focus on critical and reflective discourse central to the islands economy will give examples of how timber can be used in social practice and narrative based community arts commissioning.
MATERIAL CULTURES will talk about their research and design principles, which focus on sustainable supply-chains and decarbonising the construction industry.
